I'm always hesitant at the thought of putting new pads on old rotors like that... hard to tell that the rotors are still true and you aren't just going to destroy your pad upgrade

Bought a new Stillen Gen3 Intake on CL for $350 early in November, just got around to installing it.
Had to remove front bumper for access to trim the air inlets to fit new intake tubes.
Before:
Removed old intakes, installed new top tubing with MAFs.
Used a rotary tool to enlarge the core support quarter of an inch. Wrapped tubing in areas of contact with the core support with King High Temp HVAC Tape. This will prevent rattling noise commonly found on these installs/prevent damage to the tubing.
Protected the AC Lines with the rubber line sleeves provided. Also covered with the HVAC tape as added precaution. This added at least an inch distance between the AC Lines and the Gen3 tubing.
Done:
Engine cover added.
Peekaboo
All tied up together.
Just need to wipe off my finger prints from the tubes with a microfiber. Please pardon the dirt on the engine bay/car. Needs a wash next weekend.
Definitely made a difference in sound on WOT. Made 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear gain more 'umph' but I do notice a slight decrease in pull in higher gears 5th and 6th.
Yes the install was a little daunting with front bumper removal, but it was worth the savings in labor and a great way of learning more about your car.

I see t-bolt clamps. Between those and the HVAC tape, looks like you're not taking any chances with fitment.

@Rochester
Actually the T-Bolt Clamps were supplied by Stillen in the kit!
No chances at all with fitment! Have read horror stories of rubbing on AC Lines/rattling from the intake vibrating on the core support. As a student, cant afford 500+ in damage haha-rather spend the 12 on extra protection!

@Jdragon1974 Drives great, good pull in 1st,2nd,3rd,4th you can definitely hear the engine breathing harder. 5th and 6th gear I feel doesnt have the same seat push anymore, but that was expected as previous dynos have shown torque improvement on lower end. Overall, great performance addition. Fuel economy in the last 100 miles has been improved also, hitting 19-20 at the moment, up from 15!

Nice, yeah I dont know about a cat back..but I'm hoping to go Kinetix HFC/y pipe and mid pipe. Was wondering about that M370, and how much hp it would gain..Hoping to get a tune by March time frame. After that, wheels, lower it and suspension .

@Jdragon1974 I dont think the plenum does much, if anything 4-5 horsepower, but i figure if Im going to get tuned, may as well complete all air modifications! I am also looking into the Z1 Motorsports option of getting your plenum ported as well, which is considerably cheaper and seen to be just as effective.
@Blnewt Thank you! It has for sure, when im not tailing it! That growl at 3-4k under WOT is mesmerizing to say the least! Love how responsive the throttle is! Funny thing is, car idles very very quietly, more so than stock AND it idles at 750 which was around stock as well!
