Factory iPod/iPhone Adapter Cable-16 pin HRS 18237AA
So I have a 2009 Infiniti FX35. It seems that it came with the same cable as the G37s...I used a 3rd gen iPod which played and charged perfectly...recently I bought the 6th gen iPod nano and the same cable plays it but doesn't charge it..&$!@#???
Everytime I turn the car on it doesn't recognize the iPod even though it's plugged in...and I have to have an extra cable to charge the iPod...I can't use my old iPod anymore because it got stolen...
Does anyone know if there's a cable that can charge and play the newer iPods simultaneously? Or is it better to just install a USB port in the car?
I rented a Hyundai Sonata not too long ago and it had a USB port that charged and played the new iPod just fine...a HYUNDAI!
Infiniti doesn't seem to be up-to-date with technology...I can't add my phonebook to the car either because my phone's not supported...but that's another story...for a car of that class and price, everything should run smoothly...
