I personally got $600 for my banged up set of stock 17's. I currently have a set of sport staggered 18's, the split 7 spoke. The rims are flawless, no rash at all. The tires are in good shape, about 6/32nds tread left. I'm about to pull the trigger on some BBS wheels and tires, so I won't be needing these any longer. What is the market like for the 18's in MINT condition??? I was thinking of asking $1000, plus actual shipping if the buyer isn't local. Thoughts?

you can get a set of sport 19s for $1000 or just a little more. it's a little steep for the sport 18s. I say $800 is fair.

 

^^^ I know what you're saying, but any set of 19's that is around $1,000 is usually chewed the F up from curb rash, and the tires are toast. Clean set's go for closer to 1,400 - 1,600.
It's tough to price these because my stock 17's were curbed on all 4 wheels and sold for $600, then I see jacked up 19's sell for 1,100, and pristine 19's sell for about 1,500.
I guess it's all about marketing. The 18's are staggered like the 19's, they are lighter than the 19's (22.5 and 23.5lbs compared to 26.5 and 27.5lbs), tires are much cheaper than 19's etc..
It is hard to value the 18's though because there are not many sets moving on here, and the sets that I see are not good condition.

It's also demand. Since the sport 19s are more sought after, they can demand a higher price. Fewer people are looking for the sport 18s IMO. Im in the same position as you. I have a set of sport 18s that are in great condition with OEM Bridgestones that are @ about 80% life. It's hard to let them go for some low amount, so I've been holding on to them for the heck of it.

 

I'd probably ask 1000 obo on ebay, and 800 obo on the forums or craigslist. thanks for the input!
