I am all registered and I threw my car in the car show... why not right? This will be my first time here, does everyone typcally stay at the lodge where the event is? It will just be me going as my wife and 3 kids wont fit in the back of the coupe to get there so I hope the rooms arent too pricey.

 

I dont think there are any rooms left. We booked a lodge room the first year and I liked it better than our raggidy cabin this last year. We will see if this year's cabin is a little nicer.

 

Shouldn't have any problem getting rooms closer to the dates. We have 2 cabins reserved, as well as about 8 rooms @ the lodge which we will be condensing down to mostly the cabins for our central hangout.

 

I just called at Fontana Village is booked out so I am going to have to find someplace else. Going to try Tampoco next. Ill see everyone there though, even if I am sleeping in the G saturday night.

For those thinking their car isn't "worthy" trust me it's not about the show aspect of this event, it is a great gathering, despite the cars, they just give everyone a reason to come together. It's a great social event, driving is amazing as well as the scenery. Don't not go just because you don't think it looks the best, there is so much more behind this event.

 

I was just messing around. I'm more excited to see the other cars and meet the people who drive them more than showing off my car.
