Commenting On Other People's Mods
 

In an effort to reduce the number of deleted posts and/or locked threads due to bashing or even bans, I’d like to start this thread to help us all be more politically correct when commenting on a fellow forum member’s mod. So to begin, I’ll provide a few examples first showing the incorrect or non-political way to provide feedback immediately followed by the political version. Please participate by sharing your own recommendations for what’s NotPC (not politically correct) vs. PC (politically correct). Thank you. :icon17:

NotPC: That mod makes your car look like a$$.
PC: In my opinion, that mod makes your vehicle appear less attractive.

NotPC: Your car looks gay!
PC: Your car may imply homosexual preferences.

NotPC: Fail!!
PC: I don’t necessarily agree with that choice.

NotPC: Dude were you on crack when you decided to do that?
PC: Intoxication and decision making should not be combined.

NotPC: Yo, that mod makes your G37 look like a ricer.
PC: That mod may give your G37 the appearance of a more economical vehicle.

Intoxication and decision making should not be combined when putting together this kind of thread bro. I don't necessarily agree with that choice.

In that the OP used a bit of humor, I like this thread. It’s a real art to say negative things about others while hiding your true intent. Like:

“I would like to suggest that instead of all these mods you’re planning, it would be cheaper to just pierce your tongue.”

“I would like to respond to your post but I only read and understand English.”

“If I could go back in time I would visit your parents-to-be and give them a pamphlet on birth control.”
