First thing to check are the springs that connect the board to the connector pins.
Second thing to check are the solder joints on the LEDs (there are 2).
I replaced those also. I forgot to include them on my list.

The reverse lights are a major improvement for me. I feel that the reverse camera leaves a lot to be desired in the image quality department, especially at night. The LED lights are an unmeasurable improvement in my opinion. They are an excellent upgrade for me:
Not hating the purple actually. Think a black G is the only color that could pull it off though. I have the 5k switchbacks and they're true white. Would make for an interesting color scheme.
