There was never a bargaining-ship at all. I simply posted another member's offer so others would low ball me with an eye-gouging offer.

Yes a brand new set is $950 - add powdercoating and new details and you're up above what I'm asking. Because these were split in half, cleaned, and rebuilt, they are essentially new units.

It's against the rules to have auctions or best offer collections here, that's what eBay is for. If someone offered you $100 over your asking price, take it and run, but please don't sit around here waiting for a better offer to come by...

Ryne - thanks for the input - I am familiar with the classified rules. As stated before, I wasn't looking to create an auction. I was annoyed with the repeat lowball offers and wanted to make it clear to everyone that I received that offer from an individual who was lower on the list.

If I had a nickel for every time a sale fell through - that's why I always recommend to take asking/above asking while the getting is good.

I'm sure someone will come through with your asking price, and when they do, I recommend just taking the money and running without poking around for other offers.
