Hey I crap I see that you made one for the sedan. I did notice that mine's and it could be a 2010+ console design but I've never had issues with mines due to that little flap built into the cup holder cover.

I did the experiment with this. Sedans with the flap actually have larger cup holders (our cup holder can fit his custom built cup holder inside it).

After living with the manual version for some months, I'd say to open the hole sizes a tad. A Monster will fit in the front one, but is snug enough that it pulls the whole insert out when you go to pick it up. I'd thought about slitting the front so the whole thing could flex a bit, but just increasing the size maybe .5mm would work too.

I'll probably sand mine with a drum first and see where that gets me.

I agree, and will do the same with mine also.

Right, but the issue I had was the drinks flopping side to side, tipping over or even flying out of the cupholder during hard cornering. The inserts I made are a snug fit so this won't happen.

I tried to make it as big as I could, but I'll revisit the design for the manual. The problem is the thing isn't symmetrical, so as you noted the back one is much bigger. If you try sanding it just be careful that you don't end up going through the other side (the walls are pretty thin)

Noted. I really think it might work with the printing marks sanded down - those become pretty grippy.

As is - good cupholder for the track LOL until you try to drink with your helmet on.

Angled cups like coffee or fast food fit and remove fine. It's just straightwall cans - sodas less so than monsters, for some reason.

Is it possible to make one that would fill the entire opening if I were to remove the "flap" that closes to conceal the cupholders? I hate that flap.....

Very true, sub-consciously I've opted for bigger cups without thinking about it. Now that Rotarymike mentions it, I stopped drinking monsters.

And I get that, the coupes/manuals will benefit from this. For me, it was a downsize that I didn't need due to the Auto sedan having the folding flap that "somewhat" secures the containers more

I still like their Loco Mocha coffee. Can't find the Ginger Mule any more - that was good stuff before the heart attack. Have a few on reserve at the office for when I have ridiculous case loads LOL.

Coke cans seem to fit just fine. Paper coffee cups (way more likely for me) fit well too. The skinnier water bottles are OK but not reusable ones - but then again, I don't think I have had a car with a big enough cupholder for my camelbak bottle.

With the slot between the can holes, it also holds an iPhone on edge just fine too. Not at the same time as a cup.
