Mine has been acting up... I wonder if I replace it if the issue of it not staying connected to my iPhone will be fixed...

I have a cable for my ipod, but it doesn't charge newer generation model ipods. Does this one?

Yes it does but Chi-City-G has dips, if he doesnt pick it up then ill let you know
