Fortune Auto Coil Overs - $1000 / OBO

Category: Steering & Suspension
Price: $1000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Location (State/Prov): MD
Item Condition: Used

Hello,

I have a set of Fortune Auto coil overs for sale. These came off my 2012 G37X Sedan. The coilovers have less than 9,000 miles on them. Nothing wrong with them - just not feasible for me traveling down in DC where the roads simply won't allow it (they're trash). Asking $1,000 OBO for them. I'm willing to ship at buyers' expense. I've attached tons of pictures but if there's any questions I'll be happy to answer.

I liked them - Nothing wrong with them in my case. I just couldn't drive them around D.C. as a daily. The ride height was destroying the underside of my car and the exhaust got caught on everything. They're well made and install was easy enough. Just make sure whatever set you get that you anti seize the threads before installing them. Also, Silicone lube works great at keeping everything from seizing up. Spray it on the threads and rings every tire rotation.

These may work on your car. You'd have to look into it.

I am, but don't want the same scraping issues you were experiencing. Were you at the highest height setting and still too low?

My rubbing issues came after I welded additional resonators on. I wanted to put them as close to the headers as possible to bring the volume down after installing test pipes. Naturally, the front of the car sits lower than the rear. That's when I really started having a ton of rub. Plus, I work in the DC area and the roads are absolute trash there. Being lowered + working in that area just was not working out for me. Driving around town (normal roads) and going over normal speed bumps and what not were of no issue. At the highest setting, I was at 27.5 at all four corners; give or take 1/16th.

FWIW, I took the car to NJ multiple times to visit family and had no issues.
