Well a few reasons. Higher possiblity of Hydrolocking. Gen 3 leaves too much space and looks empty. You also need to cut the plastic piece which i dont like doing. I know gen 3 gives you bit more power but with all these reasons i decided to go with gen 2. Just my personal opinion
