Be aware there are still about four gallons in your tank when the fuel nag lights up. About three gallons at E.

Damn I don't get anywhere near that. I get no more than 200. Any idea waht's going on?

Does anyone know if my mods are what's causing my poor gas mileage?

Check for atored codes. Maybe an O2 sensor is failing.

There's nothing special about your mods except maybe your right foot is heavier?

Regarding my mileage, I live on the Third Coast where the only elevation changes are freeway overpasses. I also don't hotfoot it much except getting on flat freeways and the occasional tracke event.

I'm right in line with the "normal" estimated range on mine. Anywhere from 320-350 on a normal tank, and it can crest 500 if it's a longer drive (I can make Los Angeles to San Francisco on a single tank and have plenty of room to spare).

By no means trying to claim my mods are special haha. Just didn't know if these air-flow increasing mods would for some reason cause a decrease in MPG, but that's not the case?

Also, how much does AC play a role in gas mileage? Being in Miami, I pretty much have mine on at all times, but only the first speed, at ~72 degrees, so nothing crazy.

Special as in large power increase. You live in Flat Land, too, so terrain isn't the issue. I don't notice the A/C affecting my mileage much.

I go back to stored codes.

Hmm, now that I think about it, my CEL has turned on and off a few times in the past. Not really sure why it didn't consistently stay on as it usually does, but It hasn't come on in a while. But maybe this is related to that.

city driving/commute: summer = 310-330 miles; winter = 280-290 miles. last highway road trip saw range between 450-500 miles.

both are not great, but no cause for concern since a tank lasts me ~3 weeks on average. upside of having a big tank. filled up last night for $109 CAD. downside of having a big tank (and high taxes in my area).

If you haven't reset your ECU you should be able to pull up those CEL codes, hopefully it's something easily remedied, that miles/per tank is quite low.

I get a high of 30 mpg on non-ethanol running 75-80 on flat hwy, w/ ethanol blends I get a best of about 27-28.

My best tank was 30 mpg @ 75 mph. Either Shell or Exxon premium, don't recall which.

Lifetime mpg per computer is 20.9 but that's only about a year's driving since last time battery was disconnected.

Damn, yeah since my last trip rest, my average MPG is only 16. And again, I definitely don't drive like a maniac. I don't get it.

Apparently, though, the sport's get 2-3 mpg less than non-sports?

What kind of driving do you do? City/Highway mix?

I'm about 80% city and get around 13mpg with my mods.

I think before mods, it was closer to 16-17mpg with the same type of driving.

When I had to commute a bit more, I was getting more like 18-19mpg in my stock IPL.
