I have never had an issue with either. However, if I was the consumer, for a daily driver I would probably go with the round stainless. I just think in the long run they would take the abuse better.

I'm gonna be a newb and ask anyway (flame on!): The CF catback is just the steel one wrapped with CF? Or else, how is it actually constructed? Does the CF do anything other than for aesthetics?

(btw I'm being serious... lol... I don't ruin threads like some people here)

 

The Carbon Fiber is not an overlay. It is the actual case to the muffler. It is for aesthetics and weight savings...

I saw that...jeez...you didn't know that a CF exhaust is actually made from CF. if it wasn't, everyone would buy the cheaper stainless rounds and put overlays on it...hahahahahaha
