FIRST SSR TYPE F'S ON A G37 from AMPLIFIED MOTORSPORT

I already posted these pictures on our sale thread but i wanted to post it here so everyone can see how great these wheels look on a G37 coupe.

Who said light weight/track wheels can't looks awesome.

Unsprung weight is very important to me when modding a car. Yes you won't see it on a dyno but its quite more effective than most bolt on mods. When i was at brembo and i was talking to my rep, he told me that " for every 2 lbs of unsprung weight, your saving a total of 32 lbs of chassis weight". Anything that is not bolted on to the chassis is UNSRUNG weight like your suspension, brakes and wheels.

So in the case of LASTCHANCE"s g37 with 19 inch TYPE F:

19x8.5 +22 weighs 19.7 lbs which is 8lbs lighter than OEM 19's.

equation
: 8 divided by two is 4 X 32 is 128. Yes 128 lbs of unsprung weight savings per axle (1 front wheel) 512 lbs total weight saving for all four corners. Even if you remove all your panels and change your front seat to race bucket seats, you won't get anywhere near that.

He also has KW V3 coilovers and they are about 4-5 lbs lighter per axle than the OEM suspension. Same unsrpung weight equation for the coilovers

He has saved a ton of weight by upgrading his wheels and coilovers. Here's some pictures

any input and questions feel free to chime in or pm me

Thanks
Lou

I'm all in with you if you're talking performance wise, otherwise they don't belong on a G IMO. Their design also makes them look like 18 for some reason

Maybe it's just me

I appreciate the comments! This is the vision I have had for my car for some time....Kinda DeAth RaCe meets TiMe ATtaCK I like the look and will keep it for daily driving too. These rims plus the KW's have bumped my car up to a whole new level and I cant wait to hit the track with this new set up. Oh yeah, and I like my car dirty and pitted with a few gashes on the side too...that just me. My next mod will be .50 cal machine guns and grenade launchers so anybody complaining about my ugly car will get ZiPpEd
