So I'm back in NY but things never go smoothly....

Well all is well until 1am on the jersey turnpike near exit 5 and I switch lanes and I hear POP and dunk dunk dunk dunk...I pull over and sounds like it came from rear right tire and I go look at it and it looks like its off the rim so I'm like greattttt and take all my stuff out of the trunk and put the spare on and I look at the tire and the sidewall split from the tread. The rear tires had 9k miles on them so Idk if the company will give me a new tire bc that shouldnt happen

Had to drive home rear of the way on spare going 65 with my back end sliding all over the place getting passed by tracker trailers which sucked. Next day took 2 of the 19's from my old WRX in the basement with brandnew toyo proxes on them and put them on the rear and drove over to the local tire place.

Had them switch the 225/35/19 proxes to my front rims bc they were donezo and got a set of 275/35/19 nankang N-II on the rear. My buddy works there so I slipped him a $20 and had him adjust my coils to raise it up bc I was scrapping all over and my dad was pissed bout it.

Well first the toyos got put on the rear and my dad was pissed at me bc I said they'd fit then we found out the tires had been switched lol so they fixed that and the coils were raised (or so I thought) and the car is backed off the lift and it is permently touching the ground so it had to be put back on the lift and raised back up. Its a little higher now but my dads still mad so gotta put it a little further up tomorrow myself.

Well thats my adventure lol. the 19's from my WRX actually looked sweet on the G not that I'd use them on there but they'll work for when I do some painting.

Last pic is my exhaust after the FI pre-muffler got cut out and replaced with straight pipes bc it got a hole on it and sounded like ****.

And my birthday present from my dad haha

Nobody going to warranty those tires on a lowered car. Look how uneven the treadwear is.

Your ride is ridiculously low. I'm surprise you haven't destroyed the bottom of your car yet. Last time I was in NY, there was still huge pothole all over.

Man your car was slammed! I highly doubt that the company you bought the tire from is gunna replace it for free. Alignments are a must...

I blew a tire yesterday as well.

****ing blows.. Literally, only 4k miles on it. (nitto INVO 285/25/20) , honestly I think its because we are slammed it might be hitting something because both times I blew a tire the inner wall was tore up. BTW the last tire I replaced was April 28th : /
