Ok, If you have been keeping up w/ politics and news as of late, you would have seen alot of stories relating to immigration and undocumented workers in the US and they are fighting for THEIR rights. Now keep in mind that I have no problem w/ people who are legally here, speak english or at least try to speak english. Also, keep in mind that when I speak of immigrants, I am not focusing on hispanics...I am referring to ANY ILLEGEL MOTHERFOCKER who crosses over into US territory w/o the proper ID.

Ok, I am coming back from the jewelry store and getting my fiances wedding band and it is around lunch time, so I stop off rt 28 and hit up chik-fil-a and they are packed, so I go to Burger King instead. I get in there and I order a grilled chicken sandwich w/o tomatoes & onions. I get my food and I sit down and I open my sandwich to find that my sandwich has been overcooked and is actually kinda burnt. Also the pieces of bacon are on the very bottom of the sandwich and there is no lettuce, no pickles and a DAB of mayo. So I say "Hell no" and I go back up there. Now keep in mind the entire restaurant is of hispanic descent including the mid level manager. I speak w/ the mid level manager first and I show him my sandwich and his reply in broken english is this:

Me: My sandwich is burnt and is missing the mayo, pickles, etc

Manager: wha...wha is problem

Me: I need you to fix the sandwich

Manager: (sighs)...there nothing wrong

Me: yes there is...look at the sandwich

Manager: You want nother' one

Me: I just want it fixed

Manager: Ok

Why the hell did he bring me out another sandwich that was even more burnt that the one before w/ the bacon on top w/ alot of onions and alot of lettuce w/ still no mayo. None of the cooks speak english cuz the manager was talking to them in spanish and frankly the manager may be able to speak it, but does not understand it when it is spoken to him.

This is the kind of Shyt that pisses me off and makes me hope that they pass the bill dealing w/ immigration and have it be a felony to be an undocumented worker in this US. It is about damn time in my opinion.

right, someone has to do the job that no one wants to do, price for everything would skyrocket without illegal immigrants. raw materials, fruit, bread, tomatos, meat.. all those prices would go up. And the ones that you grant citizenship to will be competing vs you for the higher level higher paying jobs. would you rather pay 10 bucks for your burger king chicken sandwich made by lazy american teens who will still mess up your order anyways?

they get no social security, no health benefits, and they work their a$$ off so we can leech off their labor and live our lives in our high standards and pay cheap prices for everything. in many ways its not unlike slavery for real.

Ok, I will argue this one just for fun......
1) Fast food resturants such as Burger King already triple check documentation of employees that work there, so just because they can't speak english doesn't mean they are Illeagal.

2) Do you actually believe the words out of your mouth, If you were to say that everyone here illeagally get out or face jail, you would not only put a stop to some of the so called meaningless tasks the so called americans won't do, but you will put a severe stragler on the housing market, produce market, factories, and general maintenance of just about anything that we are to lazy to do!

3)Just in case you didn't realize, unless you are a true blood AMERICAN INDIAN, you are problably of ILLEGAL DECENT!

Now for the other side of the coin, I to believe something has to be done, but booting every illeagal is a bit to unrealistic.

Ok I know that our housing market, food, fruit, etc would go up due to the lost of illegals. Well you cant have your cake and eat it too.

As for BK triple checking its workers, you cant prove that 100% and just because they dont speak and understand english or at least trying...it kinda throws up a red flag w/ me. When you are legallized, they have classes that they have to attend to learn about american history and language....that is why I say they are illegal.

Now devon as for the answer to question #3...your right about not being a tru blood american indian, BUT as a black man and referring w/ black history...Black ppl were in africa and we were captured and forced to come over here and work in the factories...we didnt want to come here, where as w/ the illegal immigrants...they are willingly making it their goal to sneak across US borders and stay undocumented. I feel like if they want the same rights as us, they need to become one of us.

I understand your frustration, but why are you directing it toward the Hispanics? I get equally frustrated when I am in a Chinese food place or a 7-11. But I don't get pissed. I try to be understanding. A lot of these people come from countries where they may not have it as good as we do. Their countries are either dirt poor and have no jobs and they are just trying to work to get money to help their families back home. F*cking immigrants trying to make a better life for their kids and families :rolleyes:. Or they come from countries where they may oppressed by Communists governments like China and Cuba, or even worse like some of the places in Africa and Kenya where not only are they dirt poor and starving, but their government kills people and takes their land for no reason.
Put yourself in their shoes, I know it's hard to, but imagine being poor as hell and trying to raise a family. You can barely afford to feed yourself or family let alone drive a G35. Your lucky if one person has a pick-up that you and 15 others can pile in to get a ride somewhere. Now imagine you hear of this great country where there plenty of jobs that most of the people in that country don't even want. And you can go flip burgers or pick berries for $4 an hour, but it sure beats making $.15 an hour at home.
Now imagine going to that country and not speaking the language at all. You would try to do your best and find whatever job and housing you can. You don't have insurance. Your trying to send most of your money back home to your family, or to save up enough to bring them here for a better job and schooling.
Damn immigrants, what the hell is wrong with them, trying to have a decent life for themselves and their family.:rolleyes:

^^Jeff I realize you are half hispanic and I am NOT picking on only hispanics, I am referring to anyone. Like I said, I have not problem w/ ppl coming over here to work and make a life for themselves, but all I ask is that they go through the proper channels to become american citizens and if they are documented, they will probably make more money so they can send back to their families. They will have insurance and other nice things. That is my point.

yup! thats what my parents did.. i still remember when they"d get hasseled for selling flowers on the freeway by cops ( i was like 5 ) but anywans it was hard for them when they got here but i give anyone props who can start from the bottom with nothing and end up owning their own house,cars and raising a family. I love my parents!! :D
