I wanted to get some pics of my cars too at a hangar with some planes in the background, think you can help set something like that up? Shoot me a msg or txt, #: 440-472-0408 - Thanks!!!

    Hey JP,

Awesome paint job and photo's on your friends Lavafire Orange Pearl! I saw the Lavafire Orange Pearl Calipers you painted for your friend and knew that was exactly what I was wanting on my Blue slate 2013 G37S Sedan. I have asked around here locally and cant seem to find anyone who want's to paint my calipers in that exact color for any kind of reasonable price. Are you still painting calipers on the side and if so what do you charge. I'm also afraid that because the ones you did look so good, even if I were to find someone here who wanted to do the job, they wouldn't get it to look as good and the ones you have done and I'll be disappointed with the end results. Again Awesome job, you've definitely got the touch!

    Sincerely,

    Mike

    Hey JP,

Another question for ya about engine bay painting..... What did you use for paint and preparation? I saw that you use automotive grade paints. Where did you get them? How were they applied so perfectly? And how the hell did you do the words so perfectly??!!! The above questions are based on the job you did on Zydan's car. It was an unbelievable job!! Awesome job my friend. Any tips or help would be greatful.

    Thanks

The reason it doesn't look like mine is because I don't use rattle cans lol. I use automotive grade base coats and clear coats

    Hi JPSBLACKG37,

I was wondering if I could get some advice on painting the engine cover of the G37. I found one of your posts on the DIY: Painted Engine Cover thread and I followed the steps that you posted and everything, but my finished product didn't come out nearly as glossy or smooth as yours did. I will post 3 pics of the materials I used and my finished engine cover for you to view. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I forgot to mention, on the third layer of clear coat, some spots became white and foggy. I had to sand it out using 2000 grit sandpaper and then reapply the clear coat, but it still fogged up. Any reason for that? I did 2 light coats and a medium third coat.

    Thank you in advance!
