2010 M35 7 speed vs. M37 by sonicendeavor

Hi all
Is the 7 speed transmission in the 2010 M35 the same transmission as the 7 speed in the M37? The reason I ask is that I want to avoid purchasing a vehicle with the problematic M37/G37 (and possibly other models)transmission. I had a 2013 G37 as a rental on a business trip last month - very nice car, but the transmission was too indecisive and too slow to respond for my taste.

So, This feedback makes more hesitant to proceed to anew 2013 M37X. I can't get over how they F___ked up this Tranny.
