VQ37VHR 7AT Transmission Dip Stick Kit

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $150
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: 2010+ G37 Coupe, 2010+ G37 Sedan, 2008-2009 G37 Coupe, 2008-2009 G37 Sedan, Other Model G's
Location (State/Prov): MA
Item Condition: Brand New

I was planning on doing this mod for my G37X but never ended up doing it.

These parts are very difficult to source and a most are discontinued. I had to source most of these parts from Japan.

Everything is brand new and unused. The only modification that needs to be done is to trim the center bracket on the fill tube.

Parts list:

1X 31086-EY00A (Transmission Dipstick) Retails for around $45-65
1X 31080-EY00B (Transmission Fill Tube) Retails for around $95
1X 08146-6162G (Upper Tube to Engine Bolt) Retails for around $7
1X 31377-JL01A (Transmission Lower Fill Tube Bolt) Retails for around $12-19
1X 31084-20301 (Transmission Lower Fill Tube Seal) Retails for around $6-12

If you were to buy these it would be around $180 to get all these parts not including tax and shipping.

Asking $150 shipped, open to offers.

I've really been wanting to install one of these. Unfortunately, I don't think it will clear the firewall with my new Q50 trans installed. If you would be willing to take some measurements of the dipstick, tube, and the clearances with it installed that would be appreciated. No worries if it's a no.

I can't take any measurements, people installed it on the Q50 forum on the VQ37VHR version. I believe it is the exact same process.

If this is the VR30 tranmission, I am unsure if this can still be done. If it has the same port, it probably is possible as well.

I forgot Q50's came with the 3.7. Yep, I installed a VR30 trans which would move the dipstick back by about an inch... from what I can gather from Google images, it looks like there is maybe an inch from the top of the dipstick to the firewall. Do you know if the dipstick tube is made out of steel or aluminum?

Sorry for the delay, I am not sure what material it is made from. Some sort of stainless steel if I was to guess as it seems very strong. I don't think this is something that could be easily bent to accommodate the 1" difference.
