Ebay short shifter (the one usually around $65) for sale. Installed for 1 week only. I have some peripheral neuropathy so the extra shifting effort made my arm hurt in traffic - at the time I was in traffic for 1+ hours each way for my work commute.

Easy to install - there's a youtube video but basically remove old shifter install new. Depending on your year you might need an different / extra plate for the reverse lockout - I made one and it is included (see pics). Isn't pretty but works. Grease up the whole ball cup and install and it will work just fine.

Shifts were firm with some additional effort. Very much shorter than stock - think 40% or so.
