2nd thoughts on Fast Intention's HFC's.. opinions plz

Hey guys..

First, I'm still waiting on my FI CF Catback.. its been a long 4 weeks, n hopefully its down to less than 2 more left..

During this time, and as the title suggests, I was having second thoughts on Fast Intention's Resonated HFC's..

My goals:
No raspiness - no CEL's - throaty yet classy sound (i actually like the stock tone, just wanting to enhance it) - n hopefully some butt dyno pleasure

Just wanted to hear what u guys hv to say.. n hopefully from some of u FI customers too

Edit: I have a 7AT 09 G37S

do you have the sedan or the Coupe?
I have the CBE for the sedan it is awesome nice tone to it but still not as loud as i would have wanted it. I wouldn't do testpipes unless you want people to hear your car from blocks away. No joke my friend has it on his coupe you i hear him coming from 3 blocks away. I would recommend HFC's they give it a nice throaty tone. I actually just ordered a set for mine waiting for them to come in....

If you are asking me, definitely YES!

Still about a month so til I pick them up though. I gotta save enough for the HFC + the tune to compliment all my breather mods.

Can't wait for the pix and Video! maybe if it sounds really good i might want to get these on my car. You think it would sound different between the G35 and the G37?

All the sound I've heard so far was from videos, not in person.. I remember seeing the blue G37 coupe from Fast Intentions (the one in the Traditional Catback pics..) having a CEL light on in the video

YouTube - Fast Intentions G37 Carbon Fiber exhaust

Talked to Tony @ Fast Intentions n he said there won't be any CEL's..

No difference if you are comparing 07-08 G35 sedan to 09+ G37 sedans. However if you are comparing sedans to coupes, they sound totally different IMO. Coupes generally sound much better than our sedans. Nissan screwed us good.

@Risky Guy:

did u get the CEL's from the catback or HFC? or did u install everything at once n it popped up? I usually hear people saying it lights up within a year from installing the HFC's..

Once i but non-foulers in I had no CEL's with the FI HFCV's. The berk had them from day one and the non-fouler did not work. I really like the FI HFC's. Had them for over 30K on the car no issues. Sound is awsome with no rasp. Trust me you are not going to sound like a honda with a fart can.
