Current deals (March 09) G37 AWD sedan

Hi Guys -

Currently Infiniti has a cash discount of $3,500 off of list. I'm wondering if I can expect the dealer to move even lower than that (lower than: MSRP - $3K5).

Prices are starting to look pretty good but another 1500 reduction would be nice.

The incentive is from Infiniti Canada, the dealers aren't giving the $3500 discount. For 90-95% of people, they won't be able to get a better price negotiating themself than the pre-negotiated APA price. The APA is a consumer based, non-profit organization that aims to protect the interests of the consumer in the auto industry.

I think it's $60 for a membership (I may be wrong), but for $60 you know you're getting a good deal instead of going into a dealership uninformed with no idea of what a good deal is. Their site is apa.ca, email them 1st to confirm they have a prenegotiated price for Infiniti in your area, before signing up.

Ok, thanks. I'll check it out.
I do understand the 3500 discount is from Infiniti canada and being passed along to consumer on cash deals. I just wondering if I can do better than that, I guess APA is the place to ask.

In this economy, you can absolutely get a better deal than just the cash incentive. Honda is a brand that dealers traditionally don't discount much, yet now they're selling new 09s for as little as $200 over invoice. Just an example of how bad it really is right now.

So back to my question, how do I determine what invoice is?

I simply don't know how to determine that but I do like the value that I might be able to get on a G37 right now. I'm a little worried that once year-end is over (end of March), my pricing might go up.
