Hey Guys, just about to pull the trigger on SG3 Intake for Canada and was wondering if anyone else is interested as we may get a group buy price. I have a price of 499 shipped to Canada so it will be cheaper than that. Let me know if your interested ASAP.

Heard rumours that there's some cutting involed and minor adjustments to get the intake to fit properly. True or False?

Rumors? I wouldn't call em rumors. Its well known you have to cut to feed them into the front. Stillens crap never fits perfect

if you have a hole drilling kit for your drill its real simple.. the only thing I didnt like was taking off the whole front of the car.

Sorry Brian...count me out on this one. It seems there wasn't enough R&D that went into making this part, Stillen wont be getting my money for a cai.

There is a very good DYI to install, it just requires the grill off and a multitool to cut the whole a bit larger. According to all on the forum, it is the best CAI out there.

Nope they put out the same HP. Your referring to the stillens HP gains for a sedan. They're pretty much the same, except Takeda requires no cutting and is a bit cheaper material (so I've heard). But there is an amazing feature of this site called the search. Check it out, and it'll help guide ya through here :biggthumpup:

I don't think the price will get any lower than it currently is. My Managers are actually talking about raising the prices soon on a few of our items and these have been mentioned.

I got a local shop in Toronto canada that can do a group buy on brand new takeda cold air intake with shield and taxes $525 that was based on myself and sunnys order together, if we get more it will be cheaper please text me 905 621 4554 GTA only!!!

525 is way too high for the takeda, I got mine for 325....and Kyle@Stillen, anybody here can go to eBay and purchase these G3 intakes for 489 shipped. I'm not trying to be rude, I just don't understand why the Manufacturer of this product (and many more) won't simply provide a "good price" to gain more customers especially in the current economy...SMH

^^^ I can bet your also located in the US. Us canadians get f*cked with shipping and duties so for us $525 is cheap.

I just spoke with my sales manager and he told me that for Canadian customers we could offer a $20.00 discount on the intakes, but you would have to pay the freight. Unfortunately we can't really get around the freight and duties thing. This offer will be good until the end of the month.

i say we explore our options, takeda offers the same without any cutting, we can always bring our bussiness somewhere else, another manufuacturer would salivate with the idea of atleast 10 people willing to buy their product, just my ¢2

I have the takeda. it fits great and my kit came with silicone couplings. I even got the shield on front now. im really considering their new exhaust too. it looks really nice. does anyone have it yet?

Thread started as Stillen and ended with Takeda. Lol. Stillen all the way for me I just cant get over the experience and time Stillen has in the nissan/infiniti. Even though you have to cut support, worth it to me!
