Installed paddle shifters on my non s model
I did this back in April and LOVE IT!!!!
I bought some used paddles off of Ebay. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.myg...d8d5c4337f.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.myg...7f3392a5f9.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.myg...3ef5d662db.jpg CD |
So you use them? I looked at adding them but found too many posts of people who ended up not using them after a bit.

The paddles on the steering column look bad *** though. |
My car came with them and I use them all the time. I'm a two hand on the steering wheel kind of driver though.

I definitely use them. The transmission in D and DS response too slowly and it's nice to be able to downshift before overtaking or accelerating. It just takes some time to accommodate for the slight delay; it's no worse than the F1 gearboxes of the early 2000s Ferraris/Maseratis
One can also consider the debate on grounding kits and their effect on shifting |
Interesting, I'm usually a two hands guy, but find one hand sitting on the shifter these days - too much traffic? They do look good.
I recall that the paddles from the same era Maxima will also fit I believe? sometimes found on ebay for cheaper, and they came in some different materials. |
