G37xS doesn't actually look like the Sports Package

I'm looking at a 2012 G37xs. I'm aware that the AWD Sports Package is entirely cosmetic, but this G37xs I'm looking at looks like the normal G37x, other than different rims and paddle shifters. I had thought the Sports Package had different body kit (front chin spoiler, spoiler, etc.), but I'm not seeing it on this model...

The front lip (chin) and the rear deck spoiler were both optional features on the G37 Sedan, regardless of package. Same goes for the LED driving lights, lighted door sills, and the Midnight Grille... all optional, factory and/or dealer-installed options.

This car has the 18" Sport Wheels (which are square at 7.5" wide". It also the Sport Package front bumper, and side sills... although those side pieces are difficult to spot the difference unless side-by-side with a non-Sport Sedan. Same for the Sport Package headlights, which are just barely a little bit darker than otherwise.

Thanks, appreciate the response. The front bumper looked like any other G to me though but I'm also fairly new to these cars.

The 2010 to 2013 Sports Package front bumper is something people go through huge efforts to swap. Highly coveted for Sedan owners.

Those wheels, not so much.

I've never seen a Xs without the duckbill spoiler in the rear. Does it have sport seats?

Most xS models I see have the same chrome finisher on the deck lid as the non-S models. The duckbill spoiler is a rare sight.

I agree, the rear deck spoiler is a rare sight. But I think that's because the Sport Package is an uncommon find on the G, regardless of drivetrain, and the spoiler was more typically found on the G with the Sport Package.

The front chin is even more rare, IMO.

But the front LED driving lights are the most rare of all the bolt-on options, because it was priced 3X more than it should have been.

^Notice a lot more Sport/RWD models in warmer climates.

I'm one of those creeps that will look into any interesting-looking car to see if it's stick shift. The G sedan is not excluded...

Holy it took me almost a full year to notice I had sport skirts, they’re very subtle

It’s taken me a while to figure out the differences too, I have a XS, and also noticed the side skirts just recently. Luckily, mine came with the lip already on it too. I wish the headlight insides were a bit more noticeably dark.

Yea I had to buy my front lip from the dealer. Almost none of the cars in Canada came with the sport lip or the DRL leds

how much did you pay for your front lip? Did you install yourself, or have the dealership install it? I'm OP and want to add a front lip at some point.
