I believe that you can change the auto to be positive forward. It of course takes some work. You might want to look into cobb or someone else to speed up the fly by wire. You could always see if they can do something under warranty.

Cool that you got what you wanted and having that 6 yr warranty is awesome. Post up some more pics when you can. Shouldn't take much time to get used to the new shift direction.

I guess the warranty doesn't include any service. I have see "Walnut Blasting" as low as 400. Cobb is great, not the most hp, but definitely reliable. Some people have gone to adding port fuel injection. You already have the Single Turbo.

Makes perfect sense to me.... why would you want to fight what g-forces are telling you

hard on the breaks = push to down shift
hard on the gas = pull to up shift

Didn't see this till now, but congrats on the new BMW! I've always liked the styling of the F10 3 series with the M-Sport package. One regret I had with my Lexus was not getting the Flaxen interior, which is similar to the interior of your BMW. Enjoy it!

F10 is the 5 series. F30 is the current 3 series. OPs car is an E90.
