I wouldn't go lower but IMO that height is great. As far as getting a jack underneath, you can DIY some ramps, I use some similar to this but stacked 7/16" OSB with about 4" between the next board to give you a gentle ramp that won't hang up on your underside. This will get you high enough to get that jack underneath.

I did the same thing only used 2 2x10 and they are only ~16" long. I could never store or lug those massive things around!

Cleaned my CAI filters. I went in through the wheel wells. Much easier than taking off the bumper. 10 nuts and 6 clips and there ya go.

I then re-assessed my rear tire rubbing scenario. When I had a full tank and three people in the car I rubbed on aggressive corners. Well another 3mm of fender liner is in the trash can and no more rubbing.

I had considered bumping my camber from -1.7* to -2.0*'ish, but cutting was the way to go for me. No camber gymnastics and the subsequent re-alignment.

Pulled out the passenger floor mat and drained a quart of water from it. Windows and sun roof cracked to allow water in the carpet to evaporate. Dang leak!

Pull the side sill and look under the carpet. If your mat is wet, you likely have another 2-3 inches of water underneath the carpet. Trust me.

Installed M45 shifter.
I took my Dremel and cut a slit for the clip on both sides.
Please excuse the crappy DI-NOC covering of the ring, it's hard as hell!

Looks way better than the OE with my new Chinese wheel cover and 3M DI-NOC! Best $41 I spent on this car! Stoked!

Frost, thanks. I think I am done with the inside when I get the footwell lighting. I now get into any other G and the silver is blinding!

Kenny, thanks. Actually, I hate those ***** and will never get them.

Hats off on that CF job, and nice touch on the shifter trim
The thing I didn't like about my Carsmos was how smooth they were, I wanted a bit of traction, but they do feel substantial and have a quality look.

I understand people's tastes differ, so I'm not arguing with you... but I do think the CARSMO ***** would look perfect with the CF.
