Cup holder lid doesn't close?

So I'm planning on picking up a 2012 G37 sedan, not sure if this is the right section but I only saw "interior lighting" subsection in the tech section of the forums.

The lid doesn't close, is there a way to get it fixed?

Bumper to bumper warranty? When I bought mine the lid was broken also. Took it in under warranty....All good now, they replaced the whole lid.

Ah yes, it has like 4 months left. I need to get it fixed asap then.
Thing is, I haven't bought it yet and it was one of the things I brought up to the dealer. So I'll see if it can get fixed.

Thanks

You know how the cup holder has sort of like a divider / template that outlays the shape of a cup / can? It's connected to the actual side of the cupholder and not the base of it.

Pretty much, it was misaligned causing the cupholder not to close. Infinity just realigned it and it closed again perfectly. Idk if that's the cause for you, but that was for mine

Going to bring it to a dealer sometime next week, not a big deal but it's really bothering me.

@JinV36, that doesn't seem to be causing my problem unfortunately
