Forgestar CF10's with Michelin PSS, on swift springs....installed.
4 Attachment(s)
Just got these wheels installed and I like how they came out. Kind of wish I went a little more aggressive in the front but now I got that muscle car look so not too shabby, ;). I'm hoping the swift springs in the front will settle more but I heard that's not something that happens normally so oh well.
Hope you guys like. Next mods up are exhaust and black out trim/grill. Attachment 146432 Attachment 146434 Oops, forgot the F in cf10's title. Can a moderator add it please? |
Hey man looking good , can't wait till my swifts come (Monday I hope)
The drop looks good to me :) |
Looks good. Are those 19in wheels?
|
Looking good, nice choice for the wheels and the gunmetal finish. What wheel specs and tire sizes are you running?
BTW, added the F to your title :) |
That looks REALLY good!! Specs please!!
|
Yup, 19's.
19x9+35 245/35 front 19x10+42 275/35 rear These wheels totally change the look of my car and I'm now looking back (as opposed to stock) every time I park because how sweet it looks. If I could change anything I'd probably go with 265/35 in the rear but the somewhat fat tire doesn't bother me that much.:D |

Looks perfect, IMO. The poke doesn't look right, however. Swift Springs arriving next week. Since we both have the same size rim/offset/tire, the same tires, and the same RWD Sport Sedan, can I see more pics of your rear fitment after the drop on Swifts? Your profile photos look fine. How about from the rear, or down the fender? I ordered the Swifts very specifically to camber in the rears a little bit so it doesn't look so silly. Sure would be nice to know what to expect. |

Fixed. They can't both be fronts. ;)

The rears definitely tuck a little more so it doesn't poke as much as yours. I plan on washing the car tomorrow so i will try to get some pics then.
With the identical configuration, we have (had) the identical rear poke, so this should really give me the proper expectation. Our fronts are different, however, because I have 19x8.5" at +32 with 245/40ZR19. Right now they're flush, just with a noticeable amount of gap. I'm hoping it pulls in just enough for me to put this pair of 3mm spacers on afterwards. |

Thanks, buddy. I'm looking forward to seeing that.

I'll post updates, but the insatall is still a few weeks out. My mechanic is doing the work, and although they arrive next Tuesday, I've learned my lesson about scheduling appointments without actually having the correct parts in my hands.

Putting wheels on our cars changes the look completely. I'm also on Swift springs and I can't wait to get some wheels this year.

Really liking those wheels, making me want them now :p Remind me of the JDM Integra Type R...
Are any of you guys with 275 rear tires noticing decrease in mpg? |

What I have noticed is that the TC light just never blinks at me anymore. And on a hard launch, the car jumps off the line like a rocket. (Excuse the hyperbole.) In other words, the car is behaving extremely well to wide, summer-only tires. It most definitely feels like a performance upgrade, even though my wheels are heavier than OEM. |
It also depends on the tire. Some say the MPSS get's 2 mpgs better than stock but I don't know if I believe that. I actually decreased weight going with this wheel setup over my stock wheels so if anything I feel a bit lighter going around the turns. I did get some slip on a turn quicker then I did with the stock tires but I attribute that to the tires being new and not broken in yet.
