Thanks guys... I'm out!
To all of you fine gentlemen on the sedan forum, and myg37.com in general, I say thanks for all your help and advice over the years.
I traded the G today for a pickup truck. Driving that car around like Mario Andretti was going to kill me, or worse, someone else.
I got a new Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 with all the bells and whistles. It's slow as molasses compared to the G, but it can tow a bass boat.

Wow. Sorry to see you go, MACS.
Smart man who knows what's best for him, though. G'luck.

I can actually understand this. Years ago I walked away from motorcycles in general because I felt I had been too lucky too long. I'm still fairly new to my G, and I am still amazed daily during my commute at how really fast and smooth this sedan is. And my xS is bone stock.

Every once in a while I'll do something with the G that embarrasses me afterwards when I realize it was a d1ck move. That kind of thing never happens when I drive the wife's car.

Thanks, guys. I may not own a G, but I'll still follow the community a little. Truth is, I was driving stupid... as usual for me since I got the car... and spun it out. Didn't hit anyone else, or damage anything but the car when it hit a curb. I felt fortunate.
When I got it back, it just didn't feel right. Since I've been wanting a bass boat... I figured it was time to get back in a truck. Now when cars go speeding by me, I don't feel the need to catch and pass them.
And yes... I suppose that means I had issues with self control.

A quarter past stripped
You know, in the biking community there is a term for people who ride / drive reckless without proper safety gear and out on public roads. It's called being a "squid". If you've ever seen the aftermath of a motorcycle wreck at speed you will understand. I saw a few here in S. Florida. After getting a big fine and almost going to jail over being an A-hole I knew it was time to hang it up. Kuddos to you Sir for stopping before you or somebody else became a statistic. Take care.
