Thinking about selling my 19s and getting a pair of rear duckfeet to stay square. Currently on store brand 19x9.5 TE37s and 255/40s all around. I'd go to 255/45s on the duck feet. Just want a little more sidewall and I think I prefer the looks of the duckfeet. Plus if I get aftermarket wheels again I think I want to do 18s. But not right now. Thoughts?

Well, I screwed up..... Was waiting to finish with my taxes to make sure my budget was on point, and because of that waited too long to confirm my order for the tires... No suppliers in Ontario have Pilot Sport 4s's in 245/45/18 or 255/45/18.... Looks like Im stuck with Pilot Sport AS 3+ for now.

I have a contact with a Michelin dealer, so the pricing I get is from their warehouses. Sport 4s's would have cost me just over 1k CAD (776 USD). So its all good, its an all-year-round car anyways, just means I can enjoy good tires for a few more months instead of jumping to my nittos earlier in the fall time.

How deep is the exhaust tunnel under the driveshaft? I have finally found the active muffler I need for my custom exhaust setup, but the problem is the mufflers are 4.5-6" tall. Looking at pre-made exhausts it doesn't seem like a big deal... I will do some measuring myself but I was just curious

Alright what would you guys get of these three tires?.. (265/35)
Ventus V12 evo2
Firehawk Indy 500
Conti ExtremeContact sport
I haven't driven on any of them so i've got no clue. They all seem to get pretty good reviews.... conti and hankook get the same 87% rating on TireRack

I would look at the Ventus. Heard funky things about Firehawk, and my DWS06s are good, but a little out of balance, and will supposedly get crazy noisy once they wear down. From what I hear Hankooks don't have that problem.

A young man approached me today and asked me if I was driving a new Infiniti called a "Skyline". I said nope, it's a 7 year old G37 with a Skyling badge, just because.
LOL, that was fun.

Good replacement struts/shocks
I have a 2011 sport appearance package g37x sedan. Right now I don’t have anything aftermarket but I’m looking to replacement my struts. I want better handling than stock but I don’t want to go crazy spending thousands of dollars or to start messing with ride height. Pretty much looking for suggestions on good shocks that are quality replacement. I’ve been considering Koni yellows so far.

So the Indys have more grip? How many miles did you get out of the v12?

Some place like this https://www.truechoicekoniracingservices.com/ could probably swap the Koni guts into the old shock bodies. Might not be that expensive if you picked up used Konis.
