Genuinely happy for you, Mike.

Look at the big Holden emblem on the grille. Someone did the Aussie conversion. And full black on the front trim... very nice.

How's the aftermarket for that car?

Thank you John, I appreciate that! However you won't be getting rid of me that easy! I'm still coming to this year's annual myg37 meet ! Glad it's two days this year since one is not enough !

Well the Holden conversion would be the first thing I was going to do myself anyway and I found this one and it was a big plus it already came with the Holden conversion front and back and even inside, including the olden airbag and Holden floor mats, however the front end wasn't blacked out by anyone, it comes that way.

The aftermarket is pretty good I'd say, there are some goodies out there.

I love it honestly I'm still amazed( since I just picked it up yesterday) how amazing it sounds stock, the crackles and popping sounds from the exhaust when rev'd higher and coming down on RPMs is just music to my ears

Yes it is. Can't get enough of the 415 ft lbs of torque and the constant exhaust pops

Thank you sir, been looking into the SS for a long time now for at least past 7 months and it finally happened haha sucks you can't get one in Canada but it's rare as it is to find one here for sale especially 6MT, with the options comes with its 1 out of 19 in that color with 6MT and 1 out of 55 total in this color 6MT

Thank you Brad! Yes very much righteous indeed haha, love it!!! Yeah eventually I'll do some things to it for now I'm not worried about much, just gotta get tints, some LED foglights bulbs I guess and some license plate LEDs and such, maybe LED taillights that replicate the actual HSV GTS taillights in Australia, gloss black vinyl wrapped roof, and eventually I guess intake, headers, tune and the LSA Supercharger

I didn't know that was an option. Rather think it wasn't, but it certainly looks better in black than chrome. Same for the lower trim.

LS3 badge? I like that.

Well it's got the Holden grille so the grilles all black and in not too sure about the rest, maybe the previous owner blacked it out or this year it comes out all black and the other picture you posted of it with the bow tie emblem might be 2014 perhaps? There's still a lot I don't know yet haha

The Commodore Black Edition has black trim pieces.

I hear you, though. There's a lot to learn, and you're going to have fun doing it, for sure. Just like your 6MT G37S Sedan, the important thing is that you came out of the gate with the right car.

Nice car, Mik. If something happened to my G and I suddenly found myself in the market for a new car, the 6mt SS would be top of my list.

Apparently it turns out the front little surround trim pieces that were chrome indeed were blacked out or replaced with black pieces, and yeah I'm loving it can't wait for summer when it actually grips well because right now in wet, cold,it keeps losing traction in 3rd even with traction control on

Thank you Lego! Mike** yeah I've been eyeing SS for a very long time almost a year now. Couldn't have been happier, the pictures don't do the car justice, and that interior is gorgeous, wow I'd never be able to tell I'm in "American" car, maybe because it's not American but Australian built

Congrats on the new ride, Mike, but I thought you were trying to get one in "Jungle Green"? Guess you finally came to your senses and picked a sexy red one.

Post up a pic of that LS3!

Coincidentally I just read this article regarding GM's V8 engines and the excellent gas mileage they provide.

Not to my taste. Looks a bit stuck-on the white G IMO. But I'm certainly not the paragon of good taste. I kinda do what I think is fun and that I like.

I like the OEM ones. I was reticent at first drilling into my trunk to mount it, but it went well, and is nicely integrated.

Just do whatever make you happy. That's what it's all about. It's not like you're marrying it. You can change it later if you change your mind.

I have it, I painted it to match my car except for a small strip left in CF. Fitment overall is not bad, but the cutouts for the camera and trunk button are not aligned very well.
