I would like red needles with black and white background. Along with w full gauge sweep on startup.

I think it's possible to just swap the needles out of the old gauges, you can find them less than $100 on eBay. The main problem would be the white LED from the 2010+ G37s, it wouldn't properly illuminate the red needle.

I think you can take the whole gauge cluster and swap out the middle display though, there's a thread about it somewhere on the forums. I'm just not a fan of the old font.

Anyone use/order from Zspec before? There dressup bolts package looks good and a great price for the amount of pieces you get.

I think so as well. After reading a good bit it honestly seems like a huge PITA lol. I don't mine the colored now that much. I just would've preferred a different color than white and blue. Could be worse... Like the older orange g35 gauges haha I'm not very found of that color

Those are interesting. Really tall collars around allen head countersunk bolts. First time I've seen those.

I've got this exact same set with the red anodized washers/collars. It's a very nicely put together set with all the bags labeled by location in the engine bay and everything seems to be nicely made. It's really a big kit for the money. I've only used about a third of the bolts so far, but every time I do some work in the engine bay I replace some more of the OEM bolts with these. I believe I took some pics of this kit when I originally received it, so I will see if I can find those and post them up.

^^^ I am not sure if this will be a problem, but when steel and aluminium parts are in contact it results in galvanic corrosion: Anodizing World: Corrosion between anodized aluminum and steel

Well this is encouraging

I can understand your concern, they offer a "Silicone Washer" for an additional $5 that I purchased for my entire order. This I can only assume would benefit for your potential problem as well as protect other finishes from marring

Most any dissimilar metals can undergo galvanic oxidation.

The washers won't stop the corrosion but will protect the part under the bolt head from suffering ill effects. The threads are where the electrons exchange but the bolt heads are where the corrosion is evidenced.

Using the anodic index chart on Wiki, titanium will be significantly more active in galvanic action than the steel bolts already used. The steel female threads will corrode. Unless you never drive in the rain and your garage is climate-controlled, you're going to suffer this problem.

From the Wiki page: "Choose metals that have similar electropotentials. The more closely matched the individual potentials, the lesser the potential difference and hence the lesser the galvanic current. Using the same metal for all construction is the easiest way of matching potentials."
