I hope I don't, but glad you guys ran down a solution!
Let us know how it comes out. I too am very sentitive about rattles and noises and this would drive me nuts as well. My hearing isn't the best (old rock and roll fan here) but I could likely hear what you all are describing.

When are you going? I just stumbled upon this thread and have to say I haven't noticed the sound at all in my '09 G37 Sedan Premium with 8,100 miles.

Is this a problem with 2010 Sedans
I believe I saw this question posed, but don't recall seeing a response --- is the high-pitch frequency noise a problem on the 2010 Sedans as well or are those already coming off the line with the fix in place?

Yup.. somwhere between my first concert, Led Zeppelin in 1973 and the loudest I can recall, AC/DC in 1991. The Stones at the Cotton Bowl was great too!

I was told to bring my car in this morning to a philly dealer to have the ECM replaced. I have been there complaining for 4 months now. They called me 2 hours later to tell me the part is on national backorder. They are the biggest lying bunch of a--holes. I will never buy a Nissan product again.

I wouldn't get too upset if it's on back order. Consider they just released a fix (upgraded ECU) and they are likely short on inventory of the modified ECU. After proving they have a fix, I bet it's going to take a couple of months to create enough inventory of modified ECUs. They might need to recycle and modify older ones into other cars so the whole process could take awhile.
i know it's hard but try to hang in there.

Same here. Picked it up this morning and no noise! Hallelujah. My work order says "engine control module - 23710-1ND9C.
FYI, the intelligent keys need to be reprogrammed when the ECM is replaced, so make sure to bring all of your keys in to the dealer.
