Pop sound from window, now doesn't work
This morning there was a lot of Frost and it was pretty cold. I was able to get into the car as it did roll down the quarter inch or so needed to open. But I noticed when I got to the gas station that the window is still partially down. Once I was done pumping I turned the engine on tried to roll the window up with the button and it made a loud pop sound. The window went down a little bit, from gravity not with the motor. It made kind of a grinding sound if it tried to motor up so I went ahead and stopped trying to use the button.
I've got the convertible, but I think it's the same window and all that is the coupe.
Any ideas? I'm guessing I'll have to take this somewhere to get fixed. My window had some deep scratches along the outside anyway, like maybe the pads that hold the window on were worn down and it was letting it touch metal, or maybe some rocks have been trapped. I checked for a little rocks and whatnot a long time ago I never found any.
