Is 9x20 +25, 10.5x20 +40 a good setup? And if so what tires should i get? I have a coupe nonsport on tanabe coilovers.

 

Not bad, you can run quite a bit of tire w/ those specs. A 255/35 front 295/30 rear.

 

Or is there a setup u would recommend?...i just want the wheels flush without poking out

By putting in the OEM specs, then putting in the new wheel specs, you can see how it will affect relative fitment.

How flush you want the wheels with the panels might be up to personal preference. But there seems to be a general consensus that increasing the outer position of the Sport rims by 20mm makes the top of the wheels flow flush with the panels.

My personal preference is 15mm

9x20 +25, 10.5x20 +40 in my opinion might be slightly too much and will poke out by about 4 mm. However that might be something that you find preferable. If you are lowering your car and on 20s, it could be a really tight fit though. And depending upon how low you go and how much tire to get the likelihood of rubbing looks high.

I am on swift springs and I increased the outer position by 20 mms and my rears rubbed a little. So I went down 5 mms and it was perfect for my setup
