What's The Largest Size TV To Fit Into Coupe?

Need a new TV for the living room. I don't want to rent a truck just to bring a TV home.

What is the largest size TV you managed to squeeze into your trunk with the seats folded down? Or sticking out of the trunk?

Not very big, I'm guessing?

Maybe delivery is my only option here.

Anyone ever tie a TV to the roof?

Pay for delivery ....

You can measure the area you have to work with and most companies tell you the size of the box and DON'T put it on your roof.

50 inch depends on how big the box is.

Wow, seriously? You fit a 50 inch into the trunk?

How so, just a bunch of rope to tie everything down?

Id assume it can be pretty big if you slide it on top of the folded down back seats. You could probably get a couple extra inches if you scoot your seat up too

Yeah, I just hate the idea of a TV being tossed around by UPS/Fed-Ex before it gets to me.

I got mine 50" Samsung from Amazon. Got to my house in 2 days using Prime shipping. No issues. Plus for large items, I doubt it'll be tossed around. (Liabilities / insurance reasons).

Yeah, should be fine.

Funny, I'm looking at 50 Inch Samsung Smart TV.

I was just wondering what I could fit into the Coupe if I find a really good deal during Black Friday.

Doubt it. I could barely fit my Sports muffler in there. Had to remove it from the box.

rent a Home Depot truck for $19.99, or get it delivered ... whichever is cheaper.

Thought about the HD trunk rental. If it's really that easy and cheap to rent.....definitely an option.

Do not put a TV on your roof the vibration will probably crack the screen. They are ridiculously delicate even in the box.

I was able to barely fit a 46inch samsung in the trunk with the seats down. I doubt anything larger would fit through the opening behind the seats. Its deceptively narrow. Now if you don't mind having half the TV hang out the back of your trunk thats a different story.... I had to get on the highway and thats too ghetto even for me.... and I've been known to get pretty ghetto.....

Ain't that the truth. Don't get the biggest one that fits your car, get the biggest one that fits where you're putting the TV.
