Another hankook tire with a tear

while washing my G I discovered a tear on the front passenger tire.

I noticed other people posted the same type of tear on the sidewall....is this typical for hankook tires ?

WTF hankook

I had a tear in one of my winter Hankook tires but it was between the thread. I think the quality of their rubber is not good. I'll never go with Hankook again.

Nothing a little duck tape can't fix

Right now I'm looking into buying one new tire.
The others are still in great shape.

What size are the tires? And are you on OEM rims? If not what is rim size and offset? Thanks

Ditto, hankook v12s are crap.
Had one blow out back to back 2 days apart.
Call Hankook, all the performance tires have a warranty of the the first 25% of usually tread wear. Had gotten them to pay for 1 tire since I kept getting blow outs.
Btw I called corporate in NJ, I got a tires for just the sales tax on the pro rated part.
Only cost me like $5, good luck with your fix.
Also it's supposed to only cover sidewall profile of 40 or bigger, I was running 35s.
They covered it after I told them I would blast them on car forum.
Guess they took my word after all.

I sent the e-mail last night and got a reply from Hankook first thing this morning with instructions to take my G to America's Tire Company for a tire inspection. After the inspection the technician will call Hankook with the inspection report.......I guess we'll go from there.

I was kind of surprise. I thought it would take a couple of weeks for someone to reply back with a generic email message.

The customer service rep put all her full contact info to get this resolve asap.
