Wow, Got much spare time on your hands? Engine cover looks good though.

How did you paint up the engine cover? Looks real nice, I could go for that.

I don't use cheap materials lol all is done in a spray booth, and every part is painted twice to kill the ugly plastic texture

I don't have a spray booth but I do have a nice compressor and spray gun. What brand of paint did you use and what type of prep went into it before you painted?

I use spies hecker basecoat and Dupont Chromaclear. the engine cover gets thoroughly cleaned then sanded, then adhesion promoter applied, then sealer basecoat and clear, I normally do the darker color first, and give it like 5 coats of clear. once its fully cured ill sand it smooth then tape off and do any second and third colors then reclear

Damn... Thats a lot of work. I'm going to do some looking into this though. I'm thinking of using my K&N Typhoons tube color for the engine cover.

Totally is alot of work.... But dat result doe ;)

Jon, as always your attention to detail is what sets your work apart, just another top-notch display!

JP I'm just going start pulling things off the car and sending them to you now. Seeing these pics on top of the others is making it much more difficult not to buy that spare set of Akebonos.
They look great!

These engine bay parts are unreal! Every time I pics on here or on facebook, you make me want to drop other plans more and more for your paintwork! Great work man!
