This is the kind of day that i'm having

So, today I found out that a case that I will be appealing had gone against me for $15k. I'll pay that off then sue the pants off of them for breach of contract. I'm wrong for withholding payment so say the judge but they did breach the contract.
So I rush home and figure that I'll go to the range to blow off some steam, get my clubs and drive off. Get to the end of my block and attempt to turn left but there's a squad car bearing down on me so I stop literally in the street and let them go by even though the were some ways off (this actually saves me later on). The guys behind the cops flashes and lets me in so I complete the left turn and drive to the end of the block to make another left but there’s a little bit of traffic so I'm stopped just in front of the cops as they've pulled over on the side of the road.
Boom, the guy who let me in a block earlier hits me going what felt like 30mph. I didn't even know for a split second what happened, my foot slipped off the brake and I could hear the engine racing, that took another sec or so before I figured my foot was on the gas. Thank god the transmission went into neutral -maybe some sort of safety mechanism.
Attached is the damage, not nearly as bad as it felt thank god. I guess because I was leaning forward a bit as I was preparing to make the turn and my body kinda slammed into the seat it felt much worse.
Well I did get Directv to reduce my bill by $30 per month for two yrs. See its not all bad.

LOL, gotta laugh sometimes.

Sucks man. But glad you are ok and can laugh about it now. Things could always be worse.

Yeah, no, its probably not.

On another note, sorry to hear about the accident.

I guess you have an opening for some aftermarket cosmetics on the rear now?

Good luck, keep us updated on the repair process.

It could be depending on how much damage there is that we are not seeing. Either way, be glad you weren't hurt. You can replace or fix a car.

It probably didn't take too long to get a police report either since it happened right in front of them. I doubt the guy who hit you could claim he was anything but at fault.

Get the car and yourself totally checked out. Then grab your clubs and head to the range. At least your slice shot will be less aggravating!

Man, they say most accidents happen really close to home.
Hope she gets fixed up nice.
I wouldn't worry about suspension from that hit but I'm sure it will be analyzed.

Sucks to hear. Build it better, and let it be a bad memory turned into a good outcome!

He of course drove a Ford Expedition that he just purchased after - wait for it - trading in a G37 coupe - I'm thinking there was a little hate-aration going on there.

Cop laughed and told me 'thank god you didn't drive a smart car' Had to laugh at that one.
