2008 G37S being TOWED for 6th TIME to Grubb's!!!

Well as of about 15 minutes ago and speaking to Infiniti Roadside - my car will be towed to Grubb's Infiniti for its 5th trip there (the other trip was sent to El Paso cause their computer showed El Paso being closer to Lubbock than Dallas )

Infiniti can never figure out why the car just dies - no codes are present, battery/alt are OK, engine has a few parts replaced and the "reason to my issue" - but still no fix is present.

I love my car but hate all the issues I have had - I am about to let them keep this one = should be close to Texas Lemon Law.

Symptoms:

- car flickers all lights in the car while driving randomly (even during the day)
- no power to anything other than the headlights (stay on)
- can not put the car in neutral
- when the car can be turned on:
- windows roll down randomly (was very sweet when I was at a drive thru car wash - was that a learning experience!!!!)
- audio inputs/preset run threw random (AM to FM to XM to AUX and will sometimes run thru my presents like I am searching for a station)
- car acts likes its fighting for power or running out of gas at a stop/idle

Think I got everything major....

Anyone one on here got any ideas to what my issue may be or why my car sucks???? Cause Infiniti sure as **** doesn't got a clue!

To Infiniti and......well, not far cause car is dead!

claim the lemon law... that is bogus... 6th time getting towed to a dealership? that's ridiculous.

Sounds like something wrong with your electrical.

Gather all your evidence and documentation and claim Lemon.

Betcha your car is something as simple as a bad ground somewhere. Regardless, I would lemon law it no matter what, not fair for you to keep breaking down randomly.

I'd be inclined to take it back and let them keep it to be honest. It's not your job to figure out and fix something so elusive on a brand new car. I haven't heard of anyone else having such a severe problem like yours though. It's obviously a defect of some kind that's not common but I'd understand if you wanted to get a different model. Give it back and get your money back.

Then get a 2009!

Yep sounds like a lemon to me. No company can manufacture 50k+ of something as complicated as a car and not have any be defective. You just got one of the bad ones. Have them give you a new one!

+1. You shouldn't have to keep going through this garbage. Sorry you got a defective one....but there are plenty of new 2009's on the lots of Infiniti dealers (aka Recession 2009)....shouldn't be too hard to go shopping again

Circumstances like yours is why the lemon law exists. You should take full advantage of it, you're more than qualified under this statute.

Dude, ***** to the wall and business is business.

Tell your salesman your calling your lawyer.

I want a new one at a cheaper price too, for the hard ache you gave me.

Sorry aint cutting it.

Talk to management, and with all sensarity, tell them your suing this dealership.
I want out my contract and all my money back.
I've had nothing but hardache.

Are you kidding me bro, I feel sorry for people like you.
They push you over and they don't give a fudge about you man.
This would never fly with me. Never.

Agree with the above. I'd start the lemon process.

Yeah, mine gets the windows to act up the same as yours when the battery dies. Now, the battery dying on my car is another issue...

Lubbock to Dallas is 350 miles. Definitely start the Lemon Law process:
