Hey guys, so there's one of these in my350z.com and i gotta say there's always some funny/interesting replies in there, def a crowd favorite, so i figured i'd start one in here since i didn't see one around.

I'll start out...

Last night my friend who used to have a 2004 G35 drove my G37, kinda wet out so he pins it from a stop sign (nothing too crazy) but the car basically slides at an angle for a good 25 feet while the tires spin, he did a pretty good job keeping it going in a relatively straight line with traction off.

Anyway there was this hottt girl that we had picked up to go to the club with us (this was on the way back) who was sitting in the back. Anyway after we had the fun with the car she goes "Shant (my friend) that was really fun, i wanna do that again, i love this car" :coolio:

I've also gotten the "hey awesome car" comments from bunch of people, mostly guys, but a good amount of girls too.

At gas stations I seem to regularly run into people familiar with the G35 and they ask me how I like the 37, I use to say it's awesome, love the car ect.. ect. Now I say, I hate it.. and go through my list of negatives... Doing my part to keep our numbers down..lol. The great thing is I'm not lieing. They just look at me like.. awe that's too bad. Really catches them off guard.. expecially with all the mods I put in it... doesn't quite add up and confuses the **** out of them...rather fun try it.

Not sure if this counts as a compliment or not. But when I first got to Guam 2 years ago I got a boonie Integra just to get me to and from work, because we were only allowed to ship one car from the states to Guam. So we shipped my wife's IS300 instead of my CRX. Well for two years the only time I got to drive the IS300 was when I was chauffeuring her around with the kids on the weekends. But since I got the G 3 months ago she is always begging me to drive it instead of her IS300. Not to rub it in but she does "work extremely hard" for me to get to drive it around a few times a week.Not sure if this counts as a compliment or not. After coming out of the Skins game yesterday , there were 2 random chicks leaning on my car. So from a distance I opened up the window which kinda spooked them. While they were peeking inside I walked behind one girl and asked her what she was doing. She tells me she was very interested in buying a g37 and she just wanted to talk the person who owned the car. She loved everything about the car and I was suprised when she asked about the 6mt on this car. I was blown away on how much she knew about cars and how she hated driving a car with a slush box. I had a date with me and I knew she was getting little annoyed so I couldn't continue our conversation so I gave her my buisiness card and left. I did recieve a phone call later that evening and the story will not continue because it's not work safe. Just use your imagination..

Not sure if this is a compliment but it made me smile. Just had a family with a little boy about 9 or 10 years old move in next door, and when I was leaving to go out saturday night, he waved at me and motioned for me to roll my window down. When I did, he asked me if my car was a "Transformer" like in the movie, LOL!! He seemed so excited, so I sad yes, but only late at night when everyone is asleep. His eyes got so big, LOL!!

I aint no hero..... LOL.... I just admire ladies who loves driving sticks and know's what they are actually talking about..... :rolleyes:

anyway, i just had a comment at the gas station from a family man asking how much i got for it and mpg... he just said it was a nice car and one day he's going to trade his maxima in... i think he was just a car fan like all of us =) he was filling up right next to me....

I get a lot of compliments at drive thrus and at parking lot. Nothing special. Still haven't received a "note" on my car like I did when I had the teg. haha

Other than that, I get the typical head nod or thumbs up from other G37 drivers.. Which I rarely get beacause they're aren't that many G37 owners.

I do get some finger pointing from G35 owners. Like they're laughing at me cause I'm driving a G37? :dunno:

i parked next to a group of 6 or 7 g35s at K1speed in irvine. when i came out there was a note left asking if i wanted to join their crew.

Here's one of my best "compliment".

So I was driving home from graveyard shift and went through a police checkpoint, the lady cop told me to pull over because of no front license plate...

Here was the conversation....
Cop 1: Sir, we pulled you over for having no plates in the front. Do you have your other plate?
ME: Yeah, it's in the trunk.
Cop 1: License and registration please.
* so I hand him my L and R and he starts to write on a clipboard.
At this time, 3 of his cop buddies look in front of my car and started talking... One of the 3 went up to Cop 1 and said.
Cop 2: Hey, he doesn't even have anything to mount his plates up front. Did you write his name already?
Cop 1: I already started.
Cop 2: Mr. _____, why didn't they mount any plates in the front?
Me: I told them I didn't want them drilling holes in my front bumper.
Cop 2: Ok, I wouldn't want them drilling holes on it either. But just find another way to mount your front plates. Have your dealer figure it out.
So he tells Cop 1 to just scrap it and just give a verbal warning. Cop 1 hands me back my L and R. Then another cop (Cop 3) comes over to my window.
Cop 3: Damn, bro. Where do you work at?
Me: I'm a nurse at GMH. I'm heading home from graveyard shift.
Cop 3: Nice ride man. I'm trying to buy my boss's G35. He'll be selling it next month. How much are you paying a month?
Me: $500
Cop 3: Alright bro, take it easy.
Me: alright, thank you sir.

Not sure of the best one, but I sure get a lot of them. People at stop lights, gas stations, neighbors....everywhere. Definitely the most compliments I've goten on any car I've owned....and I've owned a lot.

I've received very few compliments on this car compared to when I purchased my Z when it first came out in 03.

2) True story -- At the gas station young kid (couldn't be more than 25) with a DB7 drop (Austin Martin) say 'oh those are pretty hard man' -- not sure if he was having fun at my expense but i'll take it as a compliment. LMAO

the day after i got it, drove it to school early in the morning to get the spot that was "isolated" haha and somehow everyone knew that was my car and i didnt tell anyone haha, and some were like "holy **** dude, thats so much nicer than a supra" haha (idk why but i'm obsessed with supras) lol.

and then i was washin it in the driveway and my neighbor and her friend drive by and she says "aye boy! that aint no G35!! its hot! I'm gunna steal it one day, ya know!"

too bad i'm in nashville now and 600 miles away from the car and its still being repaired =( i miss it

lol, a few days before i got the 37, i was lookin at this g35 6mt supercharged with about 400+hp so everyone thought i was gunna get that car or a supra lol. and then i go out of town to coconut creek infiniti... tried to screw us over on our trade in haha, so that night we drive back to daytona and then in the morning went to the acura dealer in orange park and picked up my new used G37 lol and i let my dad drive it home and he says "damn son, i might have to trade in my vette for one of these" lol

and almost everyday at work one of my friends always said to me "you gettin any ***** in that car tonight?" lol

DUDE! When my car got into a major accident, the first cop comes up to me and says "wow, is that your car? Thats really nice...where did you get your rims too?" WTF? I just got into a car accident and you ask me about my rims? haha damn sherriff

2-As I'm coming out of a Chinese Restaurant...a teenage boy and 3 friends pull up in his brand new Gray Altima Coupe...parks a couple spots away from my car. As he and 3 of his buddies pass my car, the driver stops dead in his tracks and says "Oh Sh!#!...it's a G37!"

3-Parked at the groceries with the windows down, waiting for the wifey...2 teenage guys park right next to me in an old tacoma. Guy gets out and says through the passenger side window.."Sick ride homie!"

Besides the regular "nice car" comments, I get a lot of looks everywhere I go, from both guys and girls. I also got a bunch of groupies (kids in my neighborhood) that think my car rocks...one came and asked me to race his mother on her Cavalier the other day lol

i get lots of "nice car man" and "thats the new g37?"...at gas stations n drive thrus....and constant stares of hate and envy whenever i roll with my windows down...cuz im 18 n i have a loaded IP 37 lool ...its that "you rich little spoiled bitch" look...I LOVE IT i just smile n give them a nice revv =)

Coming from a 04 and 06 g35 I totally feel his pain trying to check oil levels after oil changes. Pain in the butt!!!

Well, I think I had posted this somewhere here but here it goes again. I got my G37 shortly after it came out, so needless to say I was pretty much the only one out there. I live in North Broward county but I had to go to a conference is South Beach. A friend from work, who also has a brand new G Sedan was coming to the conference too. We met at a restaurant to have some dinner (on the company, off course!) before checking in at the hotel. After dinner we drove our cars to the hotel (The Fointainbleu Hilton to make things worse) and we both pulled by the valet parking. I was in front and he was right behind me. All of a sudden my car gets surrounded, first by the valet folks, then by a bunch of visitors from the hotel. It was unreal! I must have had about 25 people trying to get a look on my car. The more people that came to see my G the more people they attracted. But the best part was that they were all trying to get a look of my car while my buddy in his brand new G was sitting all by himself right behind my car. After a while I just stepped back next to my buddy and we were both in amazement at people's behavior. This lasted for about ten minutes and then I told the valet to park my car, in the front where I can see it. I just thought that was great if you love attention, but it kind of made me feel uncomfortable.

No offense to the sedan folks, but remember that the sedan had been out for about a year already and the G37 Coupe was pretty much non existent in the streets at the time I got mine.

I was at the gas station that I always go too,, and I was casually putting gas in my car when some guy pulled up in a brand new 7 series bimmer... He got out of his car and started putting gas in his car.. Then I was just finishing putting gas in my car and the guy looks at my car then asks me what it was and I told him it's a infiniti g37S and I absolutely love it and then he said "Wow it's ugly""". This morning while I was driving on base i was "randomly" selected for a spot vehicle inspection. Maybe they were just doing job but when one of the guards said he should be current on everything (registration and insurance) the car is brand new, and the other guy says no we want to inspect that one. I think it was kind of obvious they just wanted to check out the engine bay, because all they had were questions about the engine and they never asked for my registration and insurance. They asked if the JWTs were stock and I said uuuhhhh no. Finally they let me go to work after about a 15 min "spot" check!

a girl with a OB g37 saw my car and said "DAMN YOUR CAR IS SEXY".... that made me feel warm inside..lol maybe because she's a hottie.:icon17:

Well, the other day I was driving down busy street in my city minding my own business. I heard a honk to the right of me so I look over and it's two girls in a grand prix. They smiled and waived, I waived back/smiled back at them. Honestly I thought it was kinda weird as I wasn't drawing any type of attention to myself as I wasn't playing any music loud or wearing a backwards hat lookin' thuggish or anything like that(seems to work for the camaro guys in my area:D). Just a dude driving down the street getting honked at by two girls.

I get alot of looks where I live as most people in my area can't afford a G37. Not trying to hype myself up, but good jobs in my area are hard to come by and I have to travel to make a decent living. I'm in a lower midddleclass-middleclass area of the southwest suburbs of Chicago. I'd imagine if I were in Malibu, then the G37 is probably looked at like a chevy cobalt is here just giving the median class difference.

So i was driving my cousin's friends (3 girls, 1 was dope but had a bf =/ ) back to their dorm last weekend, and the hot one as we're approaching my car starts flipping out like "omg you don't understand this is like my dream car, i've wanted it for like 3 years" i go umm this came out last year, she goes "well whatever i've always wanted it" haha im like ok anyway probably in the entire 15 minute ride more then 45 seconds didnt go by without her saying something like "can we just talk about how amazing this car is and how hot it is" etc etc.

But what is it about the dirty looks from G35 owners. Not every G35 owner, but the first G35 owner had a sweet silver one and as he drove up next to mine, he gave one of those dirty/envy looks. WTF. I like G35, not as much as my G37S, but I always give them a waive or a nod.

You know, I hear ya on this one! I think the 35's are awesome as well as the 37's. Most of the time 35 owners pretend to not even look me when I am around them and when I give them a thumbs up, They look at me like i just pee'd in their grape nuts! Whats up with that?.:dunno:............Wankers!

Pulled up to a stoplight and while i was sitting there waiting to pull into costco the gentlman to my left was so busy checking out my brand new car he failed to realize his lane was a right turn only and turned left right into the guy who was going straight. it was a big collision, more like an explosion... my wife had to jump out and move the guys bumper that was no longer attached to his car so we could move our car out of the way... It's ok to stare just not while you should be driving... LOL!!!!

Pulled up into a parking lot next to a G35 where a big group of people were hanging out near-by. They went "ohhhhhhh" when we pulled up. I think when I stepped out, one of the girls said, "it looks better than yours" to the owner of the G35. Then she said "he looks better than you too"
