Tell ur parents that with MT you wont be able to talk on the phone etc. while driving so u'll be much safer on the road and will concentrate more on driving...

right, I would go with an auto, but the only problem is that i plan on modding the car and I don't know how the auto will handle it.
tell them the 5AT's are having lots of recalls and problems with the shifter... and the 6MT is solid as all hell and a gas saver and its ur car not theirs... thats wat i did lol!!!
