Anybody here get the full coverage extended warranty??

Just wondering who else got this. My dealer kinda flim-flammed me into getting it but now that I am racking up the miles in such a hurry I'm kinda glad I have 100,000 miles of warranty coverage. To my knowledge it is basically an extension of the original 4 year/60,000 mile warranty with the same bumper-to-bumper coverage. Its just nice to know that I will still be under warranty at 90k miles (plus it will be a nice selling point whenever I decide to sell).....

I don't think it's a waste of money, but there is just a really ridiculous markup on it.

Not me,
I didn’t want to wait any longer to go turbo. That; and the only time I used my extended warrantee on my Acura Integra GSR was the electric antenna, that makes for a really expensive antenna

Are there any dealers on the site that want to sell these at a reduced price?

I got it, too. Even though I plan on modding the car later (waiting for an APS turbo setup), there are so many other things that can go wrong besides drivetrain components, and Nissan is very proud of their parts ($$$$). Navigation screen, hard drive, moonroof, power seats, heated seats, rear view cam, power side mirrors, stereo, subwoofers, bluetooth, push button start, electronic door locks, ABS, and the kajillion computers these cars have in them. Plus it's the first model year of the car.

My dealer through in a 6yr/80,000 mile warranty as part of the package when I bought my car. Don't know if I would have got it otherwise....

You make a great case; I just got off the phone with the Infinity dealer and now have the extended warrantee. It’s nice to know, for $25.00 you can get back or transfer the pro rated amount if you sell before it’s up.

What do you mean? You can cancel the warranty at any time? Transfer to what?

something can go wrong when you are modding your car. infiniti will know that and void the warranty...i think its a waste of money, i am planning not to keep the car more than 4 years...
