Vert owners: Color Combo
 

This should serve to answer what the most popular colors are and what the rare color sections are outside of the limited edition model model colors for 2009 premier edition(platinum graphite),2010 anniversary edition (graphite shadow), 2011 and limited edition (malbec black)

I suspect athens blue, and vibrant red, midnight garnet would be the least common apart from the limited model trims. I suspect moonlight white will be the most common with obsidian black a close second.

I got 2010 white with black interior. Had to order it b/c there are no others in the whole country. Try to find a 6mt MW with black interior. They were all the grey color

Athens Blue w Gray interior with all the options wasn't easy either, I had to get from northern CA...only there were 2 -one in some where NE and other in no. cal.

Picking up a graphite shadow with graphite interior tomorrow if all goes well.

Interesting feedback so far. Definitely for rarity with the interior options. Thanks guys.

We had temps in the 70's yesterday and had the top down for most of the day - I cant 't wait for spring.

Is is too anal to have my bumpers painted? I had some jerk side swipe me leaving a parking space on the back and another dope back into it trying to parallel park. I just want her to look perfect...

It's been really nice here too man. The weekend is going to be great also. I'm going driving for lunch just for the hell of it. I think your color will end up being the most rare. I have not seen any in atlanta personally or at my local dealers lot. As for the damage I would get it fixed. It sucks that it happened though.

You are gonna need a much larger response pool in order to make the any statistically significant inferences regarding common/rare thing.

On a side note - it has been 65+ in the NY metro area for the past 2 days and I am in rainy CA on business! Aaargh!

You don't seem to have my color combo in the poll - Liquid Platinum with Monaco Red Leather and Red Maple accents, 7AT, NAV, etc

Congrats on the vert! I don't know if thats a valid combo with the liquid platinum. The monaco red seats come with only the models listed that I know of which would be platinum graphite like this from the factory.

So I just saw your pics on another forum. They definitely do things differently in the middle east. Post up your pics in the vert picture share when you get a chance. That is indeed rare if it's not even on the list LOL :)

In my case, it is a standard color combination offered in Kuwait, which is where I work/live. Dealer had two colors with Monaco Red - Pearl White and Liquid Platinum:

That is soooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome!!!!! :bowdown: I would have wanted moonlight white on red, or obsidian black on red or dare I say it vibrant red on red LOL.

I 'thought' that I would want moonlight white with red seats, but when I saw it in person, there just wasn't enough 'moonlight' in that white. Liquid Platinum really shows off vert's curves, and goes well with red. Any other color would be crazy here - last summer we reached 57C in shade, and there is no shade on the roads....

I can imagine those high temps.

I recently saw this color in person " 2011 Limited Ed. Malbec Black/Monaco Red with Maple Accents " IT IS SICK!!!!

I am considering repainting my car just to get this color. Pictures just dont do it justice.

just got it out of the body shop last night.. I have a stillen splitter to install, some tape residue to remove, and alot of detailing to do and an alignment.. That antenna isnt my biggest worries yet, but im gonna get to it !

Just got a 2011 G37/Malbec Black/Graphite/7AT/19" Wheel pkg. for fathers day. Is Malbec Black only available on the 2011 Vert?

You can get malbec black starting from 2011 up as a new color(with limited interior choices). Previously I think this was just a 2011 limited edition vert (and coupe/sedan) color combined with monaco red interior.

From this survey it seems Graphite Shadow, Black and White are the most popular colors..

I picked up a '11 Graphite Shadow 7/AT a few weeks ago. What a killer car. Lovin' it. Haven't taken any good pics, but here's a cell pic from the day I got her.

I just traded in my 2009 Blue Slate Coupe for a 2012 Graphite Shadow/Stone vert fully loaded and with the performance rims. Ill get some pics up soon, but I am loving the color combo! Overall, its an amazing white/bold grey/black palette with the nickel (flat silver) wheels that just pop out.

I was thinking nothing could ever beat that greyish blue slate. Got tons of comments on that, mostly because its rare on the 2-door.

Congrats Graphite Shadow is indeed a nice color.

I was wondering about production numbers myself. Aren't these numbers available from Nissan? For every other vehicle I've owned, there has always been this info posted by the manufacturers.

Am I reading right that I'm the only "2011 & up Lapis Blue/Graphite with Maple accents (7AT)" and there are only 3 Lapis Blues here at all. Yay rarity! Hard to believe, I think the color is gorgeous.

I am curious if anyone has painted the headlight bezels body colored instead of black.

The blue colors have always been rare.

I didn't see it in the poll but - I just pulled the trigger on a 2012 Malbec Convertible Sport today with graphite interior. I won't get to pick it up until this weekend and the anticipation is killing me. :crying:

Finally got my new-to-me vert after jumping through hoops with credit unions and DPS. It's a liquid platinum (or silver as my gf likes to call it :mad:) and stone on the inside. 2010 with 31k miles. Going to take delivery of it tmr. So so excited!

Just Picked up my 2013 IPL QAA Moonlight white with Monaco Red leather. She's two weeks old now. Just had the windows tinted. Waiting for my light to come in. After that, HFC from Fast Intentions and having the Calipers Powder coated to match the interior. I think this should be enough for now.

Yes, The 2013 IPL exterior only comes in Malbek Black and Moonlight White. Definitely need to update the poll. I cant wait to match these calipers with the seats.:drool:

I'm looking to purchase a beautiful Vibrant Red on Black vert 6 spd. Gorgeous ! So hopefully I will and I'll be part of the group !

I'll add my recent acquisition, a 2010 Vibrant Red convertible with Stone interior, 6MT, 18K miles.

Love that color combo in the vert, looked far and wide for that coupled with stick and low miles. Did a 700 mile "fly & drive" to get it.

My only complaint is I don't care for the narrow clutch engagement. Been driving stick cars continuously since the 60's, so it's not from lack of experience. I've given it some time, and it's still not particularly user friendly.

I just got my wife an anniversary present: 2010 Midnight Garnet NAB / Wheat C / Maple / Navi.

Not much drive time on it, but she loves its looks and it should be a fun ride this coming spring and summer.

The Infiniti dealer in Naperville had a 2015 IPL in the showroom with the top down that looked like the one you described. It certainly is a sporty looking car!

hey someone please help im buying a g37 vert i really want a vert but stupid as infiniti stopped the verts on the q60 so i want to but a g37 and turn it into a q60 i will put the q60 front end parts on and for the rear do some welding for the right and left fenders buy cutting mine at 35% from the top to get the big body and deep lines . i will put the twin stock q60 turbos and maybe bore it to a 4.2l in the near future my biggest concern is the dash i want that sh**** gone. how stupid of them to keep the same dash for almost 10^years.
my biggest question is do you think i could put a q50 or q60 dash in and center console in and just add the seat heaters switch in the console center the nav screen is the same but the radio is different do anyone know of any major problems ill run across and if so how do i fix it

verts are rare but I saw Melbec black with red interior and it looks really good. that would be my combo if I ever get vert.
