I ordered two resonated test pipes from different Alibaba vendors to resell and review how the pipes are.

Both test pipes seem to be well constructed. the left non-bracketed test pipes cost less than the bracketed ones. It is 2mm larger in ID than the bracketed ones also.

the bracketed ones have the lip to use the oem donut gasket which is a big advantage in my book. Luxma is a brand that sells the same ones as the bracketed ones.

Fitment for both is good on 350z (HR), G37, 370z, and Q50.

If fitment is good, not sure why people wouldn’t buy these vs brand name versions as it’s really just a piece of pipe with a resonator built in.

 

I think a lot people are still afraid of Alibaba’s buying process. It’s gaining traction but still of skepticism of the legitimacy of the platform

I had one guy buy two of the bracketed resonated test pipes from me and already has it on his q50 and his friend’s.

the very blurry picture is a set of the non-bracketed ones installed on a G37 with ISR shorty headers. Everything fit like it was suppose to.
