Car won't start

So this morning i tried starting my car and it wouldn't start. This happened yesterday but on the third try it started. Id push the button and it would go to ACC and stop there. There's a new battery in it that I got put in it when i bought the car about 3weeks ago.

Can it be the Throttle Bodies? I was going to do those after work today..

I'll try to upload the video, can i post a link to a Google photos url?

It kind of sounds like the starter is dying...but thats just a guess...doesn't seem like its the throttle bodies...any codes? if so what are they?

Yes there is a code that I forgot to mention.
P0106. - before cleaning the TB's i was going to check the MAP sensor and see if i can clean it, or if it's broken order a new one.

I'm no mechanic but it doesn't look or sound like there's a problem with the battery but I'd be curious to know if you can jump it. You can try cleaning the throttle bodies, check fuses, and look for codes. If it's not something simple call up the place you bought it from and ask them to have them tow it there to look at it. GL!

Oh there you go. Definitely clean the sensors then.

I dont think they will take responsibility... Because i bought it "as is" but before i made the purchase i got it safetied and looked at by a friend mechanic at a (Toyota delarship/) and his friend safetied it. (His friends works with him, but use to work at Infiniti before)

Can i use the same TB cleaner spray? Or is there a different spray for the MAP sensor?

I'd highly recommend getting sensor-safe spray. I don't know how good your tb cleaner is, but i'd want to be absolutely safe that you don't damage the sensors in any way.

It may be harmless but to be safe I would say no because they have different ingredients.

Base Type - Acetone

Base Type - Petroleum Distillate

Ill pick one up after work and do the work tonight.

Will update afterwards, wish me luck. Having just bought this car and it not turning on gives me a lot of anxiety, making it a stressful day at work lol.

Check the brake/clutch pedal switches?

Edit: Disregard. Didn't see there was a video attached. A faulty brake/clutch switch would just cause it to go to acc, not attempt to start at all. Your car is clearly cranking (not very well).

what are the symptoms?

No sound?

Clicking?

Cranking, but no fire?

Cranking, firing, but dying?

The last two,
It first cranked and fired and then died within a second,
It then cranked but no fire.

Tried again and it cranked and no fire.

Test for spark.

Pull a spark plug wire, have a friend crank the starter, and you stick a screw driver in the spark plug wire and see if you see any spark.

if its cranking but not running or dying after running the first thing you need to check is fuel pressure. highly unlikely that all 6 ignition coils failed to fire and are dead, you are not dealing with a distributor so that is not going to be the root cause of the engine not running or dying after running. if you don't have the means or tools to check fuel pressure you can always cheat and spray some starter fluid in the air ducting or air filter box and then crank the engine and see if it runs.

*Update

Let's hope it works tmrw morning!
