I also have a white car, and for years I've been considering what color to mess with my calipers, when the day comes. For the longest time, I was solid on an Acura NSX color, called Rio Yellow Pearl (color code Y-65P).

But looking at those calipers in that photo, painted a deep metallic amber... yummy.

There's "pop" for you, Lou.

louith 02-22-2017 12:58 PM

yeah calipers are definitely on my radar. it will give enough color to the car to 'pop'

i am diggin this combo alot though

the weight? shoot. enough lol. they felt fairly heavy. the tires did anyway. i think the wheels were roughly 22lbs give or take

Don't mean to re-open an old wound but I feel like it would be a shame not to acknowledge the work on your Si. Read to about pg.50 or so before clicking away. Loved what you did with it. I always liked the champagne / beige color on them too. I only had the opportunity to test drive one in college (I had to make pretend I could afford it and in the market.) and it was quite an experience.

Like what you've done with the G as well. Always cool seeing another MD'er on here. I'm located in the North near the PA line. Really like the new set-up over those blue shoes. Definitely gives the car a more aggressive appearance which I've always favored. Can't decide if the Halos are for me...Had a different style on my Mazda that I really liked but I can't decide if I like the varying - Oo oO - look; if that makes any sense.

no worries. i open those wounds alot lol. i miss that car pretty bad. went through alot of things with that car. that build thread reading through it got pretty dumb towards the end where me and my friends just talked in it lol. still wish i had it. stupid deer.

i appreciate it. definitely a work in progress. The halos were kind of an add on since my tail lights took so long to make. the guy offered me a deal i could refuse. all i really wanted were quad demon eyes and he got me halos with it. they act as a turn signal too. which is cool lol. i like that he had a smaller projector and a smaller halo to make the lights look Oo oO instead of OO OO with it partially blocked

Yea, I know the feeling. Bambi ended my aspirations as well. Just finished my second Halo install and grille I made when I hit him. 6,000 in damage and I had a $1,000 deductible because I had a lead foot so modding quickly got scrapped. Car never drove the same after that either.

Can't blame you there - those tails are great looking! My opinion changes day to day on them. Other stuff to take care of anyways before I pull the trigger on them but I only plan on doing it once this time around. Digging that steering wheel too. I have the slate / rosewood interior though so the CF wouldn't fly but digging that wheel. I think a member on here makes them as well......Need to get my tax return:rolleyes:

RMB5190, thanks for bringing up that Si thread, I skipped right by that in Lou's opening post. Damn Lou, you're like a God over there, 254 pages in that build thread EPIC! Looks like some serious time on that one, dedication doesn't seem to be something you lack.
Oh, and c'mon, more pics sir :)

I like the new wheel design better....but I also like the Blue on White contrast better than the oreo

the storm trooper, panda, oreo look is looking better. took me a bit to get used to. it just flows well for a luxury car i think. instead of the crazy contrast.

saywat? 03-01-2017 09:15 PM

wheels look so small. wats the tire/wheel spec?

blnewt 03-01-2017 10:05 PM

Think it's more of an optical illusion, the black barrel sort of blends w/ the tire to make them look smaller, but they're 19s.

louith 03-01-2017 10:08 PM

They are 19s. 19x9.5 front 19x10.5 rear. 255/35 front. 295/30 rear
