it will indeed "fit" the sport only. you'll need to replace the rotors/pads, obviously, but also brake lines AFAIK and wheels to 18+ sport wheels.

i'm curious to what the actual item looks like. /subscribed

Kinda knew this was the case. Already shopping for new rims and tires.
Still waiting for the calipers. Parts were shipped on the 24th, ETA is the 3rd. The hell are they using to transport the parts, a donkey?

What is the core charge?

I asked and it seems like they don't accept the non sports calipers. I guess I'm keeping them.

So that price on the ebay listing included the core charge? That's crazy low!

I'd be lying if I said it wasn't already book marked...

Funny fitment notes about the post-08 models. Front rotors only? Can you just pop a set of front rotors on the rears?

No, you cannot. Determine the diameter of their rear rotor and check the brake sticky to make sure it's for the sport.

Impressively good condition, considering the price. Thanks for posting the photos.

Sweet deal! agree w/ codeflux, seem to be in nice shape, should be easy to clean them up for paint.

Just recently did swap. I have 2012 journey. Have to either modify dust shields, remove them, or replace with the sport model ones. No bracket needed. Rotors need to be upgraded. The brake lines either need the banjo bolt to use your current lines I believe or upgrade the brake lines. Imo this brake upgrade, sway bars, and coilovers have increased my love for my g.

The big brake swap is my next project. Where did you get your parts? I see Z1 sells a complete kit. With stainless lines and dust shields, that bad boy is 2K. How much was your swap, parts and labor?

Bbk

Best prices come from part outs as in my case. Keep an eye on your local g z or gtr pages and many times they come up for sale.

Any updates from the OP on fitment and quality...also how do the brakes perform. Thank you.

KellingFrenzy 07-25-2019 03:25 PM

Yeah I might have to give this a go... I planned on doing yellow calipers anyways so this is perfect if it's legit.

How did it work out for you OP??

Johnescobar 07-26-2019 11:57 AM

It worked perfectly. It's all legit. Just make sure to get all the parts you need. Specially the banjo bolt for the sports model. You also need something to cut the rotor dust cover. I used a heavy duty sheet metal cutter in the front and just hammered the rears so it's not touching the rotors.

I painted mine burnt copper.
