What's the benefit of adjustable rear upper camber control arms?
im seeing these pop up lately but dont understand the benefit vs installing traditional adjustable camber arms that are cheaper. these are considerably more expensive. and i think more complicated to install?
jus fyi when i compare oem parts numbers for coupe vs vert its diff parts number. doesnt mean it wont fit or wont work still, but its diff oem parts for both cars. unless i searched wrong.
The UTI pieces use spherical joints. No rubber to deflect and meant for race cars. The Megan parts use rubber or resin bushings and are meant for street use.
As for why adjustable arms, dropping on springs or coil-overs often requires more camber adjustment than the stock arms can supply.
whats different about the vert stock camber arms that it cant use adjustable camber arms??
'Vert shocks in the rear mount differently. They mount ON the camber arms. SPC or all brands for the coupe, has no provisions for the shocks to go on the arms.
